December 2019: Reporting to Supporting Churches:
We've renamed "furloughs" to "home assignments" because they keep us just as busy doing ministry work as when we're out of the country! It's okay with us though, because it's re-energizing to see familiar faces and meet lots of new people. We spoke to 6 supporting churches during December, as well as visiting family.

October-November 2019: Lots of Ministry!
We had many seminars and Bible college classes going on over these 2 months. We also had our end-of-year meeting and celebration with lots of good feedback. We were busy right up until a few hours before boarding our flight home for our work furlough in the US. Check out the various pictures by clicking the photo.

September 2019 - ICM Global Conference, Thailand
All the ICM missionaries from around the world gathered together in Thailand for a few days this month, along with our founder--Pastor Dan--and several of our board members. The purpose was for Pastor Dan to cast a new vision for everyone, which was accomplished. It was our first time meeting many of these people, and we had a great time. We hope to visit many of them over the coming year(s).

August 2019 - Ministry in Uganda and Sudan:
Shortly after returning to Tanzania, Jim flew to NW Uganda to conduct IBS for almost 50 pastors. They have built a hospital and primary school to reach people who live in refugee camps on the border with South Sudan. An effective ministry to build bridges between the predominately Muslim community and Christians. Many have come to faith in Christ! We hope to start a Bible college in that location in 2020.

July 2019 - Home in the US:
We traveled back to the US for a short 5 weeks and got to see family in Florida and North Carolina. We also spoke at one of our supporting churches in Florida and attended an ICM meeting in California.

June 2019 - 1st Morogoro Graduation:
After finishing in Mwanza, we flew back to Moshi and caught a bus for a 10-hour ride to the south, and arrived at Morogoro campus. Again, Pastor Tim taught Daniel and we were all excited for this inaugural graduating class. It was very exciting.

June 2019 - 1st Mwanza Graduation:
Our first graduating class at the Mwanza campus occurred June 14. It was a small class because we have not had a dormitory there, and we were incurring expenses to house students at guest houses. However, one of our ICM Board members presented the need for a dormitory to his church, and they supplied the funds to build a facility which accommodates 4 women and 16 men. Pastor Tim attended this final session, teaching Daniel, and dedicated the building at graduation.

March-April 2019:
March brought us the final session of our one and only all-women's Bible college class, and April was another group of our prior Mt Kilimanjaro Pastoral Training Center graduates completing their final session of the Bible college. Graduations are everywhere!

January 2019--Kenya Trip:
Jim made a week-long trip to Western Kenya to provide a preaching seminar to 30 pastors from the same denomination. They were very appreciative of the training, and Jim enjoyed the new scenery.

Dec 2018-Jan 2019 US Visit
We had a very brief visit in the US over the holidays and had a chance to see all of our family except Kyle. We were in Oklahoma, North Carolina, Florida, and California in a 30-day timespan! We also got to attend a missions conference in California, as well as have the Intensive Care Ministries Director and board members ordain Jim as a pastor. It was a very special month!
