We had much to be thankful for this past month...with a trip to Nairobi to conduct training there, and the visit of the ICM founder and Executive Director, Dan Finfrock, and 2 other ICM Board members.

Nairobi (Mathare Valley Slum) Kenya
We began our East Africa ministry experience in Mathare Valley in 2008, and 10 years later we are able to return with the ICM in-depth training program. We teamed up with a pastor we have known since then, and he is helping us coordinate efforts in Kenya to launch our program there. We were also able to meet with the head of the original ministry we worked with in 2008, and they are agreeable to helping us move forward by sharing their facility with us. God is Good!

This month we flew to the city of Mwanza in the NW part of the country, right on Lake Victoria, to dedicate the opening of our new Bible college campus in that area. We also attended a 4-day missions conference for workers who serve in the Middle East or Muslim areas. We continued with our IBS seminars, church services, and outreach to children and youth. Don't you want to come visit and participate in this amazing work of the Lord?!

There was a lot happening this month, with 2 Bible college classes going on, 3 services to conduct each Sunday, our 36th wedding anniversary, and a 2-person team of visitors from the US with us for almost 2 weeks. We love being busy, but it's almost more than we could describe in words, so click into the album to see some of the pictures.

May-July 2018
We were able to spend 3 months in the US reporting to all our supporting churches, plus a few new ones. In addition, we were pleased that the Tanzanian staff were able to carry on the ministry work in our absence, plus launch a new work!

There are very few pictures this month, simply because we were gone the first half of the month, and the second half has been spent working on curriculum, new visas and work permits, and very unglamorous things. We have re-started our work with the local boarding school and ask that you pray for these students throughout the coming year.
